Quando ho scritto il mio ultimo post su Solana il SOL (token della blockchain di Solana) valeva $26.81. Oggi il token SOL vale $70.94 ed è salito al 10 posto nella classifica di CoinMarketCap per capitalizzazione di mercato.

Cosa potrebbe essere successo?
Ovviamente le ragioni potrebbero essere molteplici e non sono sicura di capirle tutte, ma una notizia mi ha incuriosito.
L'aumento di più del 30% del valore del token SOL ha coinciso con il lancio di una collezione da 10.000 NFT della collezione Degenerate Ape Academy. La Degenerate Ape Academy è una collezione di NFT di raffigurazioni scimmiesche che fanno parte della applicazione Solanart, il primo mercato NFT di Solana.

Il lancio della collezione di NFT scimmieschi è avvenuta il 15 Agosto ed ha coinciso con un aumento del prezzo del SOL da $43 a $68 in meno di 48 ore.

Come si può leggere dalla pagina twitter @DegenApeAcademy, in un simpatico tweet è evidenziato come il lancio sia stato travolgente e inaspettato nella quantità di richieste ricevute.

E nella pagina twitter di Solanart si evidenzia il grosso volume di scambi raggiunti in 24 ore, pari a 100434 SOL ($5.675.525).

Conclusioni: l'aumento del prezzo del token SOL potrebbe essere dovuto anche al lancio di questa collezione di NFT scimmieschi sulla piattaforma Solanart.
Domanda: avevate sentito parlare di Solanart e di DegenApeAcademy?

When I wrote my last post about Solana the SOL (Solana blockchain token) was worth $26.81. Today the SOL token is worth $70.94 and has risen to #10 in CoinMarketCap's ranking by market capitalization.

What could have happened?
Obviously there could be many reasons and I'm not sure I understand them all, but one piece of news has me curious.
The increase of more than 30% in the value of the SOL token coincided with the launch of a 10,000 NFT collection from Degenerate Ape Academy. The Degenerate Ape Academy is an NFT collection of monkey depictions that are part of the Solanart application, Solana's first NFT marketplace.

The launch of the monkey NFT collection took place on August 15 and coincided with an increase in the price of SOL from $43 to $68 in less than 48 hours.

As you can read from the twitter page @DegenApeAcademy, in a nice tweet is highlighted how the launch has been overwhelming and unexpected in the amount of requests received.

And the twitter page of Solanart shows the large volume of trades reached in 24 hours, amounting to 100434 SOL ($5,675,525).
