Considerations
1-Costs of electricity and gas bills
CODACONS (Coordination of Associations for the Defence of the Environment and the Rights of Users and Consumers) estimates that, if the energy price situation remains as it is, each family could spend an average of EUR 4700 in 2023. This is according to a study carried out precisely on the expensive energy situation.
2-The NRP remains unchanged
Paolo Gentiloni (European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs), states that the commitments for the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) will not be changed or postponed.
3-NADEF: a shadowy 2023
The NADEF, the Update Note to the DEF, an update on economic and financial forecasts, has been released. According to this document released by the outgoing government, 2022 went well and exceeded estimates, leaving a treasury for the new government. The numbers show a GDP at +3.3%, so it went better than the +3.1% estimate made in April. The document warns, however, that there will be a sharp slowdown next year.
Personal conclusions
1-I always believed that sooner or later energy would have a price increase, it has been for too many years at rather cheap prices. Now we should face a price explosion. Moreover, the situation with Russia does not help at all, on the contrary, it puts competitors and energy suppliers in a position to raise prices without fear of competition.
2-There is not much chance for Italy to stay on its feet, if the commitment to the NRP also fails, I believe that hard times will come for the Italian economy. Gentiloni's words give hope.
3- 2021 had ended well and 2022 had started well, then there was the Russia-Ukraine war. The situation precipitated until today, I am convinced that the difficult situation is still to come and will be in 2023.

1-Costi bollette: luce e gas
Il CODACONS (Coordinamento delle associazioni per la difesa dell'ambiente e dei diritti degli utenti e dei consumatori) stima che, se la situazione dei prezzi dell’energia rimarrà questa, nel 2023 ogni famiglia potrebbe spendere in media 4700 euro. QUesto secondo uno studio effettuato proprio sulla situazione del caro-energia.
2-Il PNRR rimane invariato
Paolo Gentiloni (Commissario europeo per gli affari economici e monetari), afferma che gli impegni per il PNRR (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza) non verranno modificati e né rinviati.
3-NADEF: un 2023 in ombra
E’ stato rilasciato il NADEF, ovvero la Nota di aggiornamento al DEF, un aggiornamento sulle previsioni economiche e finanziarie. Secondo questo documento rilasciato dal Governo uscente, il 2022 è andato bene ed ha superato le stime, lasciando un tesoretto per il nuovo Governo. I numeri mostrano un Pil al +3,3%, quindi è andata meglio rispetto alla stima del +3,1% fatta ad aprile. Il documento avvisa che però il prossimo anno ci sarà una brusca frenata.
Conclusioni personali
1-Ho sempre creduto che prima o poi l’energia avrebbe avuto un aumento di prezzo, è stata per troppi anni a dei prezzi piuttosto economici. Ora dovremmo affrontare l'esplosione dei prezzi. Inoltre la situazione con la Russia non aiuta affatto, anzi, mette in condizione i concorrenti e i fornitori di energia di alzare i prezzi senza temere la concorrenza.
2-Non ci sono molte possibilità per l’Italia di rimanere in piedi, se dovesse venire a mancare anche l’impegno per il PNRR credo che arriveranno tempi duri per l’economia italiana. Le parole di Gentiloni lasciano ben sperare.
3-Il 2021 si era chiuso bene ed il 2022 era partito bene, poi c’è stata la guerra Russia-Ucraina. La situazione è precipitata fino ad arrivare ad oggi, sono convinto che la situazione difficile deve ancora arrivare e sarà nel 2023.
