CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #041 - A place in the mountains

DSC_7.JPG

This is Namche Bazaar in the Khumbu region, Nepal. It's the biggest town in the region, situated at 3.440 m. above sea level. There are no roads and no cars. You have to walk to get here and if you cant't carry your luggage, you can get a yak to carry it. Namche is one of the places where most trekkers to Everest Base Camp stay over a night or two to aclimatize.
