Tour de France is a tough race, but you feel you are passing everybody in their bodies, when cycling at your maximum. And that is a correct feeling, and I also got it cyclling Trondheim-Oslo, and you must train a lot and not drink too much alcohol for being able to reach results.
Jonas Vingegaard is the person from Scandinavia that we now reckon as the best cyclist. He was number two in total in Tour de France, and this is probably the most requiring and the hardest bike ride in the world. And being among the third best is amazing, and you are feeling that your body is listening to you when cycling, and that you are doing the best performance as you ever could imagine. It is nice to experence that Denmark now is delivering the best results in cycling for Scandinavia, and it is impressive to be number two in the total result, and many people will congratulate Jonas Vingegaard with his amazing results in Tour de France 2021, and this is just Danish dynamite that we are perceiving.
Tour de France 2021 was the 108. edition of Tour de France. The bike ride started in Brest in Brittany on 26. June, and it was finished in Paris on 18. July. Tadej Pogacar won three stages and overall, Mark Cavendish won four stages, and Wout van Aert won three stages.
Tour de France is cycling for life and death, and you need to be alert and to cycle as fast as you can, to get important positions in this bike ride. Tour de France is the world’s largest bike ride, and it goes every summer in France in July. The race starts on a Saturday, and the duration time is for three weeks. The race is arranged of Amaury Sport Organisation. Tour de France was arranged for the first time in 1903, and since that time this bike ride has been implemented every year, just with the interruptions with the world wars.
Tour de France 2021 is among the longest edition during the last 20 years, and it seems exciting and requiring to participate. In total, Tour de France in 2021 was 3414 kilometers, and there were some properly long stages. The seventh stages is no less than 249 kilometers long, and in addition it is very hilly.
If we are looking on the history, and the placements for the Norwegian cyclists in Tour de France, Thor Hushovd has most victories for some stages, 10, while Jostin Wilmann stsand for the best placement overall with the 14th place.
Lance Armstrong has won most Tour de France overall with 7 victories, but he was taken for doping. And this implies that four cyclists are on the top of the totalt results in Tour de France through all times the race has been there, and these are: Miguel Indurain, Bernard Hinault, Eddy Merckx and Jacques Anquetil, and these cyclists have won Tour de France five times.
184 riders started in Tour de France 2021, and they were coming from different countries, and not all of the riders managed to complete the race. Rarely can you relax in Tour de France, and many of the cyclists here are given a strong and precise messages to the media, to the friends and family when they are asked about different things with the race in France. And it's a bloodbath to win, and you can not joke. And nonsense never win in any education program, and therefore we should do what is accepted and claimed from the people being there. But Tour de France is interesting and exciting and demanding.
184 riders from 27 nations and 23 teams were moving to the start of Tour de France 2021. Three Norwegian cyclists started, and these were Edvald Boassom-Hagen (did not complete) Amund Grøndal Jansen (did not complete) and Vegard Stake Laengen. Hence, it was just Vegard Stake Laengen from Norway that cycled the whole race! And this had with time to do, since you must cycle fast to be incorporated in the whole Tour de France!
