Fluffy Silky Rooster - Looking For A New Flock

There comes a time on most farms with chickens when a rooster needs a new home. The flock cannot not have too many roosters. They tend to get nasty and mean to each other when there are too many. Hens get abused as well by too many boys running around trying to climb on their backs.

This gorgeous boy is young, dumb and full of... spunk. He's energetic and he's a real looker. Eye candy. A stud muffin and he's proud of it.

Silkies are sometimes eaten, but honestly we don't like this method of eliminating extra roosters. Not only because we'd prefer not to kill (tho we have and do sometimes), the Silkie wouldn't be much of a meal. They look nice and fat but it's all fluff! They are small bodies birds.

If you are in the local (San Antonio, TX) area and need a proud guardian for your flock, perhaps you should consider this young roo for the job.
