Sndbox is a global incubator project striving to integrate STEEM and other blockchain resources into creative, organizational and entrepreneurial initiatives.
On Monday, we presented our request for delegation power from the Steemit community. We outlined our goals for our Steemit Incubator Project and guidelines for voting amongst both Sndbox members and general Steemit users with a creative and organizational focus.
The first post was geared more towards whale accounts with latent Steem Power to produce a philanthropic relationship. Today, we’ll outline the exact benefits delegators will receive for contributing tiers of STEEM Power.
Our Delegation Goal
Our goal is to accumulate 500,000 STEEM Power (including our personal Sndbox SP amount). We estimate that this will allow us to best support a worldwide network of initiatives like @stach, high professional integration in existing practices and organizations, and real-world impact projects like STEEM Park.
We understand this is a hefty goal but with our organization’s milestones and full-time implementation, we expect to on-board top tier professionals worldwide and ramp up our real-world impact through community programming and built projects. We’re nearing the end of our beta-testing phase with our current members and we expect to bring in exponential growth in the coming months. Our benchmarks for this year are 125 active and integrated professionals by Jan 1, 2018 and several hundred by next June.
Rewards/Benefits for You as a Delegator
As a delegator, you will receive...
- The Sndbox Upvote (see % metrics below)
- Your Steemit ID mentioned on all Sndbox collateral (i.e. website, brochures, signage, project materials like STEEM Park)
- Dedicated Thank You on our weekly newsletter: State of the Sndbox. For witnesses, we’ll encourage our readers to vote for you.
In exchange for delegation power we’ll upvote your Steemit posts. This practice enables a supportive network where delegators help new Steemians/Steemit initiatives and Sndbox provides an upvote return on all your personal posts. The voting percentage is of the total SP that Sndbox accrues. These guidelines are designed so that Sndbox upvotes and publicity outweigh weekly curation returns for a delegator’s account.
Delegated Steem Power | Sndbox Upvotes* |
---|---|
100,000 SP + | 40% upvote on delegator Steemit Posts |
50,000 SP + | 20% upvote on delegator Steemit Posts |
25,000 SP + | 10% upvote on delegator Steemit Posts |
10,000 SP + | 5% upvote on delegator Steemit Posts |
*Our delegation guidelines, voting methods, and percentages are subject to change as we continue to crowdsource support. We will announce changes / adjustments on a bi-monthly basis.
Voting Guidelines
The @sndbox collective vote (which includes all of the incubator participants) will be reserved for the support of Incubator members as well as all Steemians with similar community impact + creative missions in mind. Here are our voting metrics, below:
^ | Who? |
---|---|
+100% | Sndbox Incubator Members (Including @sndbox account) |
+50% | High-impact physical projects / initiatives (Example: STEEM Park or STACH) |
+20% | New Steemians (under the introduceyourself tag with strong content related to creative or entrepreneurial practices) |
+__% | Delegation Supporters (see metrics above) |
We also want to make sure that abuse of the vote does not occur internally and is not used for purposes other than our core mission of impact oriented content. @Sndbox will not vote on content from personal accounts @voronoi and @hansikhouse. We will also not vote on member posts that fail to meet quality standards we aim to uphold.
How to Delegate STEEM Power
The easiest way (that we found for us) to delegate SP is through the Vessel desktop application. The best tutorial by @jesta is found here.
What If I Want to Curate, Not Delegate?
All support is welcome. If you would prefer to support us by other means or don’t have enough SP to delegate, we encourage you to join our curation trail (click here!) After signing up for our trail, you can customize how much voting power you want to assign the Sndbox account.
