New platform, new identity: a girl has no name

I wanted to introduce myself, say thank you for reading my first post [@honeyscribe/3-surprise-remedies-for-reversing-acid-reflux]. This seems like such a cool space. I've been ghosting around for awhile.

Have you ever wanted a fresh start?

I'm an established writer in a niche market which means I write a lot about the same thing, but here I get to be no one.

A girl is no one.

I'm with Arya on this. It's liberating to step outside the confines of your own skin for awhile (or your writing niche as it were). In my case, I'm now sharing work I want I've got piled up but doesn't fit anywhere under my name.

A girl has no name.

Ahem. Well, except for @honeyscribe. Have I usurped an identity? You won't know unless I peel that handle off. . .

But if you pay attention, you can learn lots about who a girl was through what she shares. And you will get a lot from me. All those (often weird) ideas that haven't had a place to go? I'm going to release them here to wander these hallowed virtual halls.

Have you ever given yourself a break by adopting a new identity? Why?
