Hello Friends/Steemians,
I will like to share with us this article to know that we are all sinners. No one isrigheous. Even the Bible said that "all our righteousness is like a filthy rag." This is why we must be washing our cloths in "His Blood" all the time.
Romans 3:9-18
(9) What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.
(10) As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;
(11) there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God.
(12) All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”
(13) “Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.” “The poison of vipers is on their lips.”
(14) “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”
(15) “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
(16) ruin and misery mark their ways,
(17) and the way of peace they do not know.”
(18) “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
We Are All Under Sin
All people possess a sinful nature-a nature that we are born with that is constantly pulling us towards sin and evil. The result is that all are guilty before God and deserve the greatest penalty: death and permanent separation from God. But God's loving response to this tragic situation is to provide a way of restoring us to a right relationship with Himself.
For this reason, He offers grace, forgiveness, spiritual salvation and eternal life to all who accept the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, and yield their lives to the One who died to pay the price of our sin.
No One Is Righteous
These verses of the Bible reveals the facts about human nature. All people in their natural state are sinners, seperated from God and prone to go their own way.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all. - Isaiah 53:6
Our entire being has been affected by sin. Apart from God we are drawn towards the evil and rebellious ways of the world, the devil, and the selfishness of our human nature. All are guilty of rejecting godliness and embracing selfishness.
*This is to call us back to our savior, who has sacrifices Himself for the remission of our sins. Do not let His sacrifice be in vain. Let's retrace our steps, as for genuine forgiveness and the Lord will accept us back being a gracious God.
Thanks for reading and stay bless.
Shalom.
