Japan Photo Blog, Vol. 68 - At the Kameda Kounan-ku Cultural Hall

文化

būnka. “culture.”

My family enjoyed a trip to a performing arts center here in Niigata City last weekend that I had been previously unaware of. As someone who was heavily involved in stage acting and production in high school and afterwards, I thoroughly enjoy going to these fantastic places and feeling the hush of the hall when the lights come on on the stage, and getting lost in the magic that happens thereupon.

I hope you’ll enjoy these pictures from our visit, and also the video of a very talented percussion group, and the one and only @mslight2016st performing on stage!
