4000+ POSTS WHAT I HAVE LEARNT.png
This is my fourth time making the 1000-post milestone. I make these posts to track my progress after every 1000 posts I make! Remember, by 'post' I mean engagement. It's just called 'posts' in the profile area. So don't get confused that it's 4000+ blog posts :D

So, I can definitely say that I am learning new things every single day. Whether that's from someone telling me something I didn't already know, to being reminded of something interesting, to learning from personal experiences.. It's a constant learning process. I love it!
BIGGEST LESSON.png
I think the main lesson I have been seriously reminded of in these last 1000 posts would definitely be the power of consistency! To just make a decision to do something, and carry that decision out all the way!

So for me, I set daily and weekly goals specifically targeted at engaging. Originally in my first week here on Steemit, I set a daily engagement goal of 70+ posts per day. I was able to maintain that, however a big thing I originally learnt was the benefit of time efficiency. I was spending hours initially in front of the PC, convincing myself I was working, yet half the time I was simply being static (Wasn't doing anything productive).

In my third week here, I decided to raise that daily goal to 100 engagements per day. I was also able to maintain that after teaching myself to really focus in the times when I had to work.

In the last 2 weeks, I have had a day or two when I did even 200 posts in a day! This is a result of just focusing on the task at-hand, and just doing. So, how does this relate to the original lesson, being consistent?
BEING CONSISTENT.png
Well, I have been able to do 200 posts in a day, yet other days I have done as little as 10 posts.. Especially in the last week. I feel I have really been losing momentum. This is due to being inconsistent. Reason it's such an important aspect, is because if you calculate my daily average of my last 1000 posts, it was over a 12-day span. That only averages to about 80 posts per day.

This teaches me two lessons.

  1. If I had just been more focused on the days when I did almost nothing, I would've seriously boosted progress.

  2. Maybe sometimes setting your goals too high can be less beneficial than you think. If you set your goals too high to consistently reach, on the days when you don't reach them, it might demotivate you. That's exactly what happened to me.

Just my point of view!

IN CLOSING....png
If you think someone you know deserves a shout-out, you are always welcome to let me know! Yes, you may nominate yourself, only if you really think your content deserves more exposure. Your results need to speak for themselves :) I choose a new person every week for the Shout-Out Saturday post! So stay tuned, it might be you!

More than how much my posts can make, I care far more about getting my content in front of newer faces. So if you would like to show your appreciation, you can share this with others!

I want this blog to be a happy, motivated place where you guys are free to engage and say whatever is on your mind. A place where if you have something on your mind, no matter how dramatic it may be, you can feel free to speak. Resteems are appreciated!

I reward good resteems and comments! I would love to know what's on your mind. Be bold and talk to me in my comments section! I would to know your opinion and what it is you'd like to achieve. I am trying my best to make 2 high quality blog posts per day. So stay tuned!
