Quesney21 (Day 9): Lunch Feast at Naughty Nuri

Naughty Nuri lunch buffet, now you know where is all my fat come from hehe but still I love to eat Pork. Naughty Nuri~Probably the best rib in the world that what you see when you go to their website, and I kinda agree with that because so far the best pork rib I ever had is with Naughty Nuri. While I'm writing this post, I get hungry and too sad they do not have delivery service.

Naughty Nuri is a Restaurant & Bar franchise chain from Ubud, Bali which well-known for their Balinese Food. It was started by Brian Aldinger who is an American & Isnuri "Buri" Suryatmi who is an Indonesian, and they're both married couples. When they first began in 1995, it was just a small road-side stall. The signature dished that you must try Naughty Nuri's 1995 Signature BBQ Spare Ribs & Dirty Martini. Anthony Bourdain has called their Martini is the best in the world.

You're able to enjoy eating Naughty Nuri at Jakarta Indonesia, Melbourne Australia, Macau China, Phuket Thailand and of course Malaysia. For the Sunday buffet, we went to the Atria Shopping Gallery. In Malaysia itself, Naughty Nuri has five restaurants located at:

The interior design & decorations for the restaurant is more on the Indonesia cultures, not only that you can see a lot of cute pigs with many different postures in the entire restaurant too.


There are two privates room available in this Naughty Nuri outlet where you can see the wooden doors were craved and with many of different design of batik cloth, it's unique.

Buffet

The Buffet is only available for two outlets in Klang Valley which are Life Centre and Atria Shopping Gallery; it's started at 11:00 AM in the morning until 3:00 PM in the afternoon every Sunday at the price of RM 49.90++ for an adult and RM 1.00++ for the kids. The buffet is only for the food and drinks is not included, so you need to order drink separately.

It is because is Buffet and to encourage all of the customers to not over order the food. Therefore they're charging RM 20.00 for every 100 Grams food wastage. People who worked here are mostly Indonesian, excellent services and very friendly too. For every few hours, there will be a dance to entertain the customers.


You can found the Ala Carte Menu but not the Buffet Menu. Therefore you may refer above for it. Everything on the Menu is unlimited except the star items which you can order 1 per person only.


Unlimited Salad.


Unlimited Homemade Dessert, Ice Kacang & Pisang Goreng (Fried Banana).


Babi Guling, unfortunately, this is not unlimited.


Wefie time with the help of one of the waitress. The private room just beside our tables. I remember when we are talking about this and @zord189 even come out with a title "Makan Babi Dengan Zord" which translate to "eat pork with Zord". I love to eat Pork, when I was in Bangkok and I saw there is pork everywhere. I'm so happy haha.


Naughty Nuri's 1995 Signature BBQ Spare Ribs, I just can't get enough of this, but too bad my stomach have limited space.

Lastly Ice Kacang, the almond flakes is delicious! I will be back again to try the rest of the buffet menu.

@zord189 said that there is a​ Durian Puff in the basement and it's delicious! The way to eat this puff is you must eat one puff in your mouth, don't eat bit by bit.

We ended our day in a herbal shop, ordered some herbal tea to cold down our body after all the BBQ food. It is indeed a​ great time spending​ together and there will be more of the food meetup in future. If you're available, come and join us. ​
