Hello Steemian a 24 year old woman Mandy H lost both her legs three years ago after being involved in a horrific train accident for years she hopelessly continued searching for her perfect match and in the end decided to join a dating website.

Mandy who lives in Colorado United States since her terrible accident has been very determined not let her disability take over her whole life.
In 2014 after a night out with her friends she lost both her legs above the knee, as you would expect she says it was a very traumatic difficult time for her.

But Mandy has managed to pull out and get passed all this shes moved on now.

But how does one do such a thing I wonder?!

Well according to Mandy since her accident happened humour has been the driving cause that has made her recovery a lot easier.
But surprisingly not just any humour shes coped by joking about being legless every day.

I guess this may seem a little odd but if it works for Mandy then why not its said being able to add humour to ones defaults is a very attractive quality.

So after watching an inspirational video on Youtube about dating as a disabled woman, Mandy decided to set up a profile on popular dating app and no prizes for guessing which...yup Tinder.

She says that now shes broken the ice and has apparently sexualized her disability with her humour, according to Mandy she feels with this she is acknowledged as an individual rather than someone who is a double amputee and bound to a wheelchair.

Apparently Mandy really enjoys reading what she calls hilarious jokes that her Tinder matches send to her I dont know but the people do tend to like how open she is with all this and have to say it does seem to have definitely helped her secure a few dates.

Mandy looks very happy and confident here and wow what a lovely dress.

But she does mention that while the reactions she gets on her profile are hilarious they are also very supportive and kind.

Mandy has infact been inundated with matches on Tinder after posting her witty quick bio mocking her very own disability.
She says its a showcase to her dark sense of humour her favourite part on her profile being the title of ‘stand up comedian’ and also stating later that she’ll ‘never run away’ when things get tough.

I guess not running away when things are tough if you dont have legs to run away with can be amusing as the old saying of seeing two bald guys fighting for a comb.

Erm yes anyway so despite having used the app over the months Mandy is yet to find love she added I dated guys from Tinder but it has never turned into anything romantic of yet.
But she did say its been great as out of all this shes made a lot of new friends who keep in regular contact with her.
