I was out yesterday night watching the latest edition of the Spiderman movie at Lido, Singapore. I heard some were saying it wasn’t so good but it was a movie that was so fun to watch for me in more ways than one. More about with with photos in future post. First, back to the movie.
Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This piece is part of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, particular the first of the 4 violin concertos, called Summer.
让大家继续读的时候,欣赏一点音乐。这件作品是维瓦尔第的“四季”的一部分 - 4小提琴协奏曲中的第一首,名为“夏天”。

Spider-Man: Homecoming
Here’s the movie poster I took.
It started up jumpy as a “Film by Peter Parker” as they were scenes of Peter’s movie from his presumably mobile phone which give some headache watch. After I sat through the first few minutes/
Part of the plot revolves around Peter Parker being taken by Tony Stark as a mentor in his “internship”. The other part of the plot revolves around the plot around the bad guys who kept part of the alien technology salvaged and made themselves some cool weapons.
The age of disruption for many of us including Peter Parker. Who said Spiderman does not need technology. He was given a suit Iron-man style. Minus the iron of course but with full Internet of Things technology embedded and a setting of “Training wheels mode”. Perhaps die-hard Spiderman fans find this a little hard to swallow and perhaps this is why some people think it was no good. To me, this was one the most fun thing.
The suit got taken away later and Peter was down to his own lame suit which gets a little more exposure compared to the earliest movie. That was fun too. Big surprise when the father of the girl whom Peter was going to the Home-coming party was the “CEO” of the bad guys. In between, he’s got help by a close friend who became the armchair associate at one time and get caught in action. His excuse was also funny.
Spiderman movies are nothing without action and I felt I got enough action but won’t want to spoil too much of the thrill of watching for you. This was the most comic (comedy style) Spiderman I’ve ever watch. There were many subtle and not so subtle jokes. You have to pay attention to the speech and the scenes include the T-shirt that people are wearing. If you watched it, tell me what you think.
See if you have the same popcorn container at the cinema you are visiting.
