"Jump Around" for any Hip Hop head who was around the early 90's and haven't Jumped Around on this there is something definitely not right... lol I think I personally jumped on this song more then Michael Jordan dunked in his entire career .... and I still do sometimes and I'm in my early 40's now.
Jump Around by the dope trio Everlast, Danny Boy and DJ Lethal is a massive hit song by the American hip hop group House of Pain, produced by non other then DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill (Soul Assassins Records) who has also covered the song.
This song was a massive massive hit in 1992 and climbed on the charts with a record time, even though the song is a Hit from the 90's Hip Hop era you can still hear this song being rocked in every Hip Hop club around the world til date around the Club Peak Time.
True classic indeed, I personally been a massive fan of House of Pain. I collected all their Albums or cassette tapers, vinyls and Cd's to posters even around the times of MIRC chat back in mid 90's i used to run their Fan Page on the Internet and had a website for the House Of Pain fans like myself.
Jump Around contains samples from the classics Bob & Earl 'Harlem Shuffle' released (1963), Jr. Walker & the All Stars Shoot Your Shot (1965), Popeye (The Hitchhiker) by Chubby Checker (1962) and finally Sounds of Basic Training by Josten's Military Publications (1967)
