Over a year ago, @verbal-d wrote this masterpiece. He released it on steemit with the help of his brother-in-law @sirwinchester, and soon, it was inspirational! It is "The Song That Inspired The Steemit Open Mic Contest!"
As many of you know, @luzcypher has been running an Open Mic Contest on steemit for one year now with the help of @pfunk and some others. This was the song that inspired @luzcypher to start the Open Contest. As he said over one year ago, "The other day I saw a great post that inspired an idea for a weekly contest on Steemit."
The post that he was referring to was this one that featured the first version of the song that you are about to hear. To celebrate one full year of the steemit Open Mic Contest, @verbal-d asked me to join in on the hook and had @edgarstudio mix and master it! After hearing the song when it first came out and knowing how inspirational it was, I was happy to jump in and help out. Now, here it is for your listening pleasure!
