1)Victor Wooten - Isn't She Lovely
This is a Stevie Wonder classic performed entirely on bass. I play a bit of bass myself - but Victor Wooten makes his bass sing. Most of you have never heard the bass played like this (and will likely never see anyone else).
If you know this tune you will know how absolutely awesome his performance is. Beautiful and melodic (he uses a loop pedal so he can "play with himself" if you are watching carefully).

2)David Gilmour - Shine on you crazy diamond
This clip says that is by David Gilmour (the better part of Pink Floyd). The intro to this performance is amazing - its Roger with a "Taylor" Guitar (if your shopping for a new guitar I highly recommend it)..
Just like the last clip with the bass - Waters uses a series of pedals - most important the "looping" pedal - where he layers sound on top of sound and creates almost a "wall of sound" before the song kicks in (Did I mention he can still sing like an angel?).

3)Jeff Buckley - Satisfied Mind
This is a Johnny Cash cover by a guy who became famous singing a Lenord Cohen song (Hallelujha). I feel this song was channeled just as well as "Hallelujah" but never received the exposure.. Cash had a hard enough time selling his own tunes! This is a gem if youve never heard it.

4)Stone Temple Pilots - Plush (Acoustic)
Few songs from the 90's alternative scene will stand the test of time. This is certainly one of them. The vocal in this paticular performance is outstanding. They played a variation of this song on MTV Unplugged - but it was nowhere as good as this specific one.

5)Cameron Bedell - Earned It (Acoustic Cover)
Awesome cover.. silky smooth vocals - arranged for a male and female voice which make for some fantastic harmonies. I love my fellow Torontonian "the weekend" - but these two put something special on this beautiful composition.
