The Competition
I stumbled upon a competition called 'Share The STEEM Love Competition', which is organized with the same intention we all have.
Part of my mission is to #stsl - Share the STEEM Love - is to run these competitions to help those Steemians who may be new to the platform, or maybe have even been around for a while, and are adding great value to their community and posting great content
The contest involves nominating someone and getting people to support your nomination.
The prize includes the SBD generated from the contest post and 60 days of upvotes for the nominated Steemian.
The Goal
To be honest, I'm not writing this post because of the contest prize...
I'm writing this post because of the opportunity to show who we are.
This is a good opportunity to put the #newbieresteemday initiative in the spotlights, by showing how strong we are when we work together. This will allow the initiative to grow further, and to become known by others.
The Action
I've nominated the #newbieresteemday initiative, but because the "official" account @newbieresteemday has no real posts, only resteems, I've put up @davemccoy's name as a representative.
Let's spread the word about the #newbieresteemday initiative and show SteemIt who we are.
