Alright, we got insanely lucky with the weather here... In June/July you'd still be prone to rain, winds and cold weather. But today (actually yesterday, I'm a bit behind on the posts) we got this stunning view from our cabin:
And we sure were happy we got this kind of weather, because we were going hiking...
It did not take long however, before the weather gods turned against us; seemed like Thor was about to awaken.
Luckily, both my girlfriend and I brought Thor-resistant clothing and still enjoyed our trip
We also saw some sheep on the way, which was more than happy to pose for the camera.
These flowers are called DOG CRACKERS (in Norwegian)... Quite a beautiful name for such a beautiful flower!
We found this awesome stone formation - which was possibly there for someone to get "blood-eagled" (comment if you don't know what that is and want to know!)
Another gorgeous panorama view of Uttakleiv in Lofoten
We wanted to sit down and have lunch, but we thought this gang might get us in too much trouble, so we let them have the bench to themselves.
I don't think this requires too much explanation...
Finished up the trip with more fisheye photos of some bluebells in the house!
AND THEN... we got back to good ol' grammy with the cod, potatoes, bacon and carrot to finish off the day.
That was it for today's post! Tomorrow we'll go driving to "the end" of Lofoten and some other must see spots!
