So you just submitted that awesome post of yours and now you wait for the upvotes to come. If you have no network you can wait all you want. You could also hope for any curation trail other than Minnowsupport hitting your fresh content but you are not the only one.
My advice is a s solid as can be. Grow a network. Find people. Don't have to be likeminded people as long as you have a good connection with them. There are thousands of people on Steemit looking for other people. They just don't know how to reach them as Steemit lacks one key option. The option to send Direct Messages. You'll have to either install Discord or find others willing to invest in growing a network on Steemit.chat.
Steemspeak
For me everything started really on Steemspeak. I can only advise every newcomer to hit www.steemspeak.com and introduce yourself right there. Listen to the people on voicechat or join them in the discussion. You'll probably will stay quite and observe the channel a bit before joining either Chat or Voice.
You'll find the likes of @fyrstikken, @gomeravibz, @battleaxe, @kralizec, @inertia and myself haunting the chat either all day long or from time to time. Of course there are different channels which you will learn everyhting about but Steemspeak is where it all starts.
Don't do yourself short. If you are a good writer with great content you need a network. And since Steemit is still taking babysteps towards the big and mean outside world you'll want a network now instead of later. Don't hesitate to join Steemspeak
And now on to....
@moon32walker He posts mainly about games. Yes, games. And I really like the way he writes about them. And you should too if you are into games. His last post was about Rage. Besides posting about games he is also very "on spot" with the curation game. A quick look at his curation rewards show that he does not necessarily curates gaming posts so you might want to get on his radar.
@sponge-bob Unlike the character he chose his name from he actually is really smart. Just take a look at his last post about his hindsight and you'll know why. He believes in Steem and so should you!!
@dubi Another great Korean on the list. She announced herself as "Wonni" which is actually her nickname. I guess you can try to contact her by replying to her posts. I suggest greeting her in Korean by saying: "안녕하세요, 당신은 어떠세요?" or "annyeonghaseyo, dangsin-eun eotteoseyo?"
@infovore All about the chain. The blockchain. If you need info about the blockchain then this is the blog to follow. Loves resteeming things Chain related too so if you are a good writer with good knowledge of the blockchain you want to get on his radar.
@majes Keep a sharp eye on this account if you are into crypto and especially Steem. Take a look at those pricecharts and tell me you haven't come to the right place!
@aiqabrago Indonesian Curator. So if you are from Indonesia try to get in tocuh with him. Unfortunately I don't speak fluent Indonesian but I can understand SBD and from what I am seeing he has a flourishing account. Has some beautiful pictures in his posts too!
@steemit-life loves art. Looks like an artist. Posts about art. Curation game on spot. Not necessarily with art posts so you might get on his radar. Again the key is good content!
@dumar022 I can be mistaken but my guess is that he is from France. He lives a few meters from the shore which brings us some interesting mediterranean pictures and posts. Has a sister with a gopro too FYI.
@angel76 German housemother with lots of DIY. Her last post was about how to build a Windlight. If you're into DIY this is one to follow. Very nice mother who you should definately not pass by without saying "hello" or "Guten Tag"
OCD
Usually I finish the WTF Daily with a special word for the Witnessess. Today however I'd like to get your focus on OCD. If you are on Steemit and believe you have good quality content but feel it's underrated feel free to contact me or any of the OCD teammembers. If you struggle with getting the right attention we might be able to help you out.
We delibaretely search for Gems that are forgotten and we feel deserve extra attention.
Cheers y'all and Steem ON!
