One photo every day: Gingerbread house (184/365)

Hello! :)

In our extended family there was a great aunt who used to bake a lot of gingerbread houses for everyone in the kin. After she died, there was a long break in the tradition.

Some time after my own mother died my father surprised us, and started the tradition anew. He's likely baking them for just me and my brother and our families, but anyway... We've been receiving them for the third year now.

So... my father gave us a Gingerbread house for Christmas. The tradition says we are not to eat it until Epiphany, on 6. January, so it's still under cellophane wrappers.

Even in dark, the cellophane gives a lot of reflections.

I'm going to shoot the house again when we remove the wrappers. :)
