Crossing the street.
Camera body: Canon EOS 550D
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-18mm ƒ/4.5-5.6 IS STM
Focal length: 18 mm
Aperture: ƒ/16
Exposure: 30 s
ISO: Dual-ISO 100+200
So I went for a night shoot. And chose the wrong lens. It turns out that being a new STM lens, the switch to manual focus has absolutely no purpose or function (at least when used on a non-STM camera). Every time I trigger the shutter, the lens re-focuses and since night photography is supposed to be shot in near darkness, the lens has nowhere to focus, and everything more or less fails.
Additionally, this photo came to be, when I crossed the street the remote in my pocket must have triggered the camera to shoot while in motion. Result is visible.
I will try to see if any of the images I shot tonight can be published. But that'll have to wait till tomorrow. Now going to bed, as I need to be awake tomorrow as Miro's party is at noon, and it's already past 3 am. I'm so going to be tired there.
See you later then! :)
