As one of the 6 judges, and as an original artist also, I aim to represent the best original artists in this contest from our wonderful Steemit community. I am keeping my ears open for cover artists as well, don't worry but creating an original song is indeed impressive, especially if executed and performed well. This week was filled with so many wonderful artists, even amongst the high amount of entries, and there were still many talented performers who entered, so forgive me if I didn't list you, I definitely heard everyone's entries. Another masterpiece formed for our enjoyment. You really owned and performed this song to its truest element and the melodies are always as catchy as an epidemic illness. This entry has it all, and you three time and time again prove your consistency in putting out high quality music that stuns the listeners. 2. @lisamalletart's "Achologia" By Lucas Rosa Feat. Tiago Rubens Cover Song
If anyone ever needs a boost of their mood and be renewed in their faith in humanity in the form of musical goodness, look no further than the superb qualities and harmonious chemistry that @lisamalletart and @rhavi display on a regular basis. You both are quite the power couple and do this cover song more than justice with your grooving vibes of positivity. You can always tell your love for music runs deep in your soul and you have so much which produces a more natural effect on the impact of your music. 3. @gonetroppo's "The Drifter" Original Song
You both bring quite a euphonic and melodious original to the forefront that is refreshing as it is memorable. Your brotherly bond is clear to hear and see with how you bring these creative lyrics to life, the harmonies you effortlessly weave together and how coast across the treacherous lands of failed music. This song is clearly no drifter as it finds its place in the top 5 of my list. Thank you for this gem and we look forward to more of your originals.

4. @dannyhamilton's "I'm Going Home" Original Song
This was a very heartfelt and driven original that definitely hits home and expresses the reflection of self very deeply. You three performed such a wonderful song and @dannyhamilton, as the forefront singer, the way you delivered those lyrics with high conviction and care help to translate that energy and intention clearly across to us listeners, and the celloist and violinist were spot on with their skills. I especially enjoyed the harmonies you layered in as well. Thank you for sharing this high quality gem. We look forward to your next one.

5. @mrprecious' "Stay With Me" By Sam Smith Cover Song
Yes indeed Sam Smith is a great singer but obviously that is not why this entry of yours here placed. I must be honest that when us jusges hear the same song over and over again, the lines begin to blur of what a great cover can be after some monotony can sift inward on the experience of music. This was a fresh and lively cover entry and you did a great job hitting those high notes and singing with careful precision and what brings vitality to this song is your ever soulful vibrato and passionate delivery. When you can fuse those attributes into a song, your skills take care of the rest and it is appreciated. Thanks for choosing a well known and vastly covered song and showing how to perform it so well. Looking forward to more of your entries.

4. @roman.musica's ”Manifiesto” By Víctor Jara Cover Song
You bring quality and a great sound to your smooth performance. As the song describes in the English translation, you may not sing for singing or for the reason of having a good voice but that goes without question that you certainly can sing as well as you play guitar.

Apparently a lot of people don't know that I, @Verbal-D, am a Hip Hop Emcee as much as I am a singer/songwriter/beat producer, so I will continue to showcase from now on the song that inspired @Luzcypher to create the Open Mic Contest that we are all apart of today.
