Yesterday's meetup in Kansas City has my heart overflowing. It was awesome to see some Steemian friends I hadn't seen since the Springfield meetup ( @stellabelle & @papa-pepper) or when I was on @steemittalk ( @sykochica ), and get to have some great conversation...meaningful conversation.
Stella even graced us all with a truly generous Steem it Forward initiative in the form of a special token with a few rules and some pretty big power. I can't wait to use mine and then pass it on. Such a great idea.
Stella's efforts to make this event happen was a really big deal. She cooked for all of us. She even made delicious Steemit cupcakes!!
Having experience booking shows, planning events, and planning meetups, I know they can be a logistical nightmare, and I really appreciate the efforts of @stellabelle in all the hard work I know she put into this. It doesn't go unnoticed, Stella. Thank you so much.
I knew @pierrefilms looked familiar, but I couldn't place from where, until I learned that I actually saw him on YouTube a while back from this video. We have the best people involved in our community here, guys.
I told myself that for this meetup, I was going to be sure to take pics on my phone...but yet again, that didn't really happen. This is literally the only picture I took, so I'm incredibly thankful that @melodyrussell and @jasonrussell were there to make sure the event was documented, and I can't wait to see the photos they took. I was too busy listening, talking, and playing music. :)

I also can't wait to see all of what Jason and Mel captured for us. I had a bit of sneak peek after we got back to Springfield, and am really excited for you guys to see some of these great moments captured, they worked hard at various angles the entire time, shooting the event and networking too. Talk about multi-tasking!
Thank you to those who were there, for letting me share my original music with you, for bearing with my questions and the occasional blither, and while I didn't get to have in-depth conversations with everyone, it was so nice to just spend time with you all and share in this amazing platform we all now all call home.
