Before we get started I want to share a little news and ask that everyone lend a hand to someone who not only has helped this contest, but I consier a friend.

@kaliju needs help from the community!

There are many people who run around helping others all the time without asking for anything in return. From what I have seen @kaliju is one of those people. Right now he is faced with a very large medical bill due to an emergency surgery and he needs some help. Please at the very least visit all of his active posts and give upvotes. As you read this post asking for help you can decide what you can afford to do or not do.

Ulog Day22: Praying and Hoping for better health

It's purely a coincidence that my selection process led me to this post based on two of my criteria:

promote a #ulog post (see referenced post below by @surpassinggoogle) as a means of helping newbies join and get started
promote members of #ccc

And, after reading about "@kaliju needs help from the community!", I have no doubt that I should feature this post!

Today is the sixth day of the confinement of my father-in-law. He was confined for almost a week now.

He suffered from a small blood clot on his head, that affects the movements of his right side of the body. It is really difficult to move when one part of the brain is injured, especially the nerve that control the motion of our body. This is an early sign of mild stroke, since the person being affected cannot move the arms either the legs. It's good that we brought him to the hospital right away for treatment because his blood pressure raises high.

As for my second featured post, I would have preferred "2.a @barski (57)", but the rules will not allow that, but, I want to bring some attention to it and to @barski if you are so inclined.
