The impressive Sultan Mosque with its golden dome is the largest in the city and is located in the center of the Arab quarter. It is also the end point of a palm-fringed promenade with many traditional Arabic restaurants and souvenir shops. Just like the Indian or Chinese Quarter, the area around Arab Street has its own unique ambience and shows one of the many faces of this great city, which proves that people of all nationalities and cultures can live together peacefully and in mutual respect within one city.
Die imposante Sultan-Moschee mit ihrer goldenen Kuppel, ist die Größte der Stadt und befindet sich im Zentrum des arabischen Viertels. Sie bildet auch den Endpunkt einer palmengesäumten Promenade mit vielen traditionell arabischen Restaurants und Souvenirläden. Genau wie das indische oder das chinesische Viertel, hat auch der Bereich um die Arab Street seine eigene, einzigartige Atmosphähre und zeigt eines der vielen Gesichter dieser großartigen Stadt, die beweist, dass Menschen aller Nationalitäten und Kulturen friedlich und in gegenseitigem Respekt, innerhalb einer Stadt zusammenleben können.
