A visit of the Empire State Building's observation deck is one of the highlights of every New York trip. Of course it's especially recommended to come shortly before sunset to be able to admire Manhattan from above during the day, at dusk and at night, within just a few hours. Unfortunately most tourists have exactly this plan. So if you want to take great photos, you have to be patient and shouldn't let the crowd disturb you.

Besonders empfehlenswert ist es natürlich, kurz vor Sonnenuntergang zu kommen, um Manhatten bei Tag, während der Dämmerung und Nachts, innerhalb weniger Stunden, von oben bewundern zu können. Leider haben die meisten Touristen genau diesen Plan. Wer tolle Fotos will, muss also etwas Geduld mitbringen und darf sich vom Gedrängel nicht stören lassen.
