The Train from Japan in Java #Photo

PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia has many used trains from Japan. This is one of them.

This is DC electric multiple unit commuter train type 205 series built by Nippon Sharyo. The ex East Japan Railways Company train began to ride in 2013. It is more than 30 years old but still in good condition. The problem is it's air conditioning. Indonesia train operator substitute original air conditioning to fan.

Wikipedia notes:

Most of KRL Jabodetabek rolling stock are air-conditioned second-hand rail cars imported from Japan serving alongside a minority of domestically made air-conditioned cars made by Industri Kereta Api (INKA). Trains are generally formed of 6 or 8 cars, with a capacity of 80–110 passengers per car. With the arrival of the ex-Japanese JR 205 series, PT Kereta Api Indonesia will begi.n operation of 10-cars-consisted trainset.

There is a small correction for Wikipedia article: now trains are generally formed of 8 or 10 cars, not 6 or 8 cars.
