Jungle Shots: White Bougainvilleas and Moringa Seed Harvest

While I like the look of the bougainvillea flower I don't like their thorns which is honestly more often than not what I interact with from these flowers. From stepping on a stray trimmed branch to getting hit in the face by a low hanging tuft of flowers, the thorns literally never feel nice and almost always leave you sore for days. Oh, but they are beautiful.

The small recently planted tree featured in this photo is a moringa tree, one I harvested seeds from to grow. The seeds are commonly used to purify water though when not used for growing new trees.

The dark circles are the seeds in the pod. These trees are famous for their nutritional value as well as the water purifying properties of the seeds. The trees are also nitrogen fixers making them awesome additions to the garden.
