FOR THE LOVE OF PASSION!!! by @papa-pepper

New photos and old memories. I first came in contact with the Passionflower back in 2004 when I lived in New Orleans. It truly is an incredible flower! Back then, I never even knew that they made an edible fruit. (I'll cover that shortly in my series THE EDIBLE OUTDOORS, where I show which wild plants may be living near you that you could start eating.)

Here's some edited photos from today of some of these beautiful flowers. I believe that all the flowers photographed are Passiflora Incarnata (Purple Passionflower), but that some just happen to be almost white.

These are the unedited originals from today of the images above.

The rest are additional unedited Passionflower photos from today. Enjoy.

If anyone is interested in the United States, I have seeds from these beautiful flowers. They can be difficult to germinate, but once they start growing, they're a perennial in growing zones 7-11. (I'll cover propagating these vines from cuttings in my series papa-peppers guide to plant propagation soon.) They can also work in a greenhouse or spend the summer outside and winter inside farther north. I'll ship them for no cost to the first 5 replies from people in the US who request them.

Thanks, @papa-pepper
