Parked the car next to the main road...on the hiking trail-head opposite of Homer Campbell. I walked out to hike and the field was full of cows. I didn't notice them until I crested the ridge. I spotted them just beyond the pond.
Zoomed in on the cows grazing in the green field. They looked happy and healthy. I didn't want to spook them and have them run off, away from the road. If I wanted to get a closer photo of them, I would have to quietly creep the car up the road a little further.
Successfully parked the car without scaring the cows...I sat in the car for a moment and played with the camera. My phone was overheating and I had to wait for the settings to load.
Got out of the car slowly and proceeded to take a picture. They didn't run off! I enjoyed listening to them from across the dirt and gravel lane. I could hear them chewing their cuds from that far away as if I was right next to them. What a great start to the day!

I curate #poetry and posts with the tag #onehumanbasket

Don't forget to use the "onehumanbasket" tag to ensure my 100% (real person) upvote.
- Use the tag "onehumanbasket" on photography, art or other types of posts besides poetry. Posts using both "poetry" and "onehumanbasket," however, will remain higher priority since I wish to curate the poetry community specifically.
- I also host a weekly poetry dice contest. Official entries to the Poetry Dice Challenge 3000 (PDC3K) will have the highest priority vote. Please only use the "poetrydice" tag for official entries to the contest. Abusers will be flagged.
- I also curate posts using just the "poetry” tag.
- Any left-over voting power gets used for highly selective posts that I hope contribute to the "onehumanbasket" feel. (This includes nonsensical YouTube videos and my own posts.)
