πŸ•ŽπŸ•―WidowπŸ•―πŸ•Ž

Traditionally, the daughters of Asher had a reputation for great physical and spiritual beauty.

Anna had probably "married up," becoming the wife of a highly respected priest. But, as with us all, "time and chance" had taken their toll. Her husband had died early in their marriage, and age had clothed her beauty in wrinkles.

Anna, now an elderly widow, was a prophetess, and consequently spent most of her life in the temple, worshiping God.

Let us look in on Anna in this Christmas Haiku.
