Hey everyone. I wanted to start off by saying that we had some important and good news the other day!
I made a quest recently for round 8 to try to find a sponsor for the IFC to help with the rewards for our competitors and it looks like at least one of our contestants has found one.
I'm still waiting to hear more details as I type this, but from what I've been told so far @ats-david is going to help out a bit with some of the rounds, I think @kryptocek said he was willing to upvote one contest a week, which I think is awesome and I also think it will help this contest a LOT, especially now that there will be more rewards for the individual rounds in addition to the grand prize.
I'm sure this won't be the last time I say thanks, but I personally want to say thanks to both kryptocek and ats-david
And for any of you who are a part of the contest or perhaps just a fan, you may want to say thanks as well to both of them. :) They did a really great and charitable thing for this competition and I have a feeling it's going to ripple in ways we can't even predict right now.

Reasons the judges voted the way they did.
My reason
This was a pretty difficult round for me to judge, there were a bunch of good entries that were about helping people, mostly through steemit, but that's fine.. My top two picks came down to bashadow and deliberator and since deliberator created a chat room to help beginners that he claims will live on for a while even if he doesn't, AND also because he introduced the "help a beginner" quest that I added to the competition I think it's appropriate to give deliberator my vote for this round.. bashadow did a great job! And so did some others, though.. I think deliberator has earned this one. Nice job deliberator!
