When it comes to Resources of the world to fulfill the needs of each and every single person living on this planet then there is ample of it for everyone, there is no lack of Resources at this very time. But sadly the distribution of this Resources is the key problem area. The Rich are getting richer by the day and the Poor are suffering every single day. If all the Resources are used in the Right manner, at the Right place and for the Right people there would be no poverty, illiteracy, corruption, terrorism or any misery. But people who have Resources that can make a difference want to hoard and then misuse it in a illegal way.

If I had all the Resources that could make a difference to the society I would like to work upon many areas but there is one that stands out very clearly for me and that is for the Children.

There are end number of Children in any part of the world, be it a 3rd World or a 1st World nation where Children are suffering in all different ways. There are some Children who lack education, some lack home, some lack on a good environment to grow up in, some are abandoned, some have been pulled into wrong doings, drugs, some are molested and it just goes on and on. Our so called matured societies leave no stone unturned to traumatize children and abuse them in any and every way for their convenience and pleasures. When I see a Child suffering it brings tears to my eyes. How can people abuse someone who is so helpless.

For me these are some of the most important things that I would do for Children if I had all the Resources I needed:

The most important one, provide a safe environment to them, where in they can grow up in complete innocence and playfulness and feel safe.
Ensure every Child has a minimum basic education which will give them sense of the society.
For Children who are brought up in Remand homes and Orphanages ensure that they would have all the facilities and a healthy safe environment.
Zero tolerance towards Child labor and begging
Provide Shelter homes for the abandoned children, so that they get a roof above their head and of-course after that a safe environment.
Free medical facilities for children
Build up play areas and special facilities for Children where they can spend some quality time out in the nature.
Ensure that every Child gets healthy meals and clean drinking water everyday.
No child ever goes through any physical or mental abuse and if something like that happens have severe punishment for the guilty so that no one would ever dare to commit such an act again.
Create centers that would provide children mental development activities and make them ready for the future not only with the book knowledge but also with a high intellect capacity.

Well all of this may not be applicable to all the Children, while we have Monsters in the society we also have Angels out there in the form of Parents and Guardians who take very good care of their Children, but for those who do not have this privilege I will surely like to do all of this for them. When I was working with Children in the Mumbai slum areas and remand homes my heart used to break apart watching them in that condition.

I remember the Remand home that I used to work at for around 100 boys there used to be one long room where 1 child gets a space just enough to sleep and at the end of the hall were 4 bathrooms which were shared between the 100 of them and there used to be a terrible stench all the time in that hall. Such an unhygienic condition to live in. We volunteers were not allowed to get into any area of that place in any way and we were only allowed to spend sometime with them in whatever best possible manner we could. Otherwise any other interference and they would ask us to leave.

Our Children are the future for tomorrow, if we want to see a healthy and peaceful world we need to raise our children in that manner so that they can make the difference out there in every possible way. So my first priority would be to use the Resources in best possible manner for the growth, care and development of Children.
