As most of the time I am busy cooking, it is rare that I get some real time talking with guests visiting us – both repeaters and new ones! I use most of my time cooking the best food I can for them actually!
Of course I would love to chat with each one of you, but this is simply impossible… The below letter is made especially to all PMC Grill And Resto guests and the future ones too…
If I had the opportunity to chat with each one and describe PMC, this is mainly what I will be talking about most of the time!
This letter will give you a clear idea of part of the philosophy of my cuisine and life!

First of all thank you for your visit, I am really glad to have you here among us!
Welcome to PMC Grill and Resto!
Before you start choosing what you would like to order, these below few lines are super important for everyone to know beforehand where we will share a little bit of the philosophy of PMC Grill and Resto!
PMC PHILOSOPHY - PART ONE
- All food cooked and served here are designed as I, @progressivechef and the team of PMC, WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT FOR THE DAY!!! Things change very often in our kitchen – Nearly every day!
- We always cook each of the dishes to the best we can, of course mistakes can happen – We are all humans after all! Nah!?
- It can be that many or some of you may not like our cuisine, this is alright for us, and we fully accept your opinion...But please don’t come again to taste our cuisine, so simple…no need to make a drama out of it! There’s a lot out there selling food! No worries…we are and will be still friends…well if we were before!!! Just let’s move on…
- I love listening to critics…but POSITIVE and CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICS ONLY!!! If you don’t like the food of PMC, please do let me or my teams know and we’ll be more than happy to welcome you in our kitchen where you can show us a better way of doing the recipe! We enjoy learning.
- The prices I’ve put out there as selling price of each dish is the amount I, @progressivechef, decide based on what I, as a customer would be ready to pay for this quality of food. If you are not happy with the prices…again…please don’t come eating here making me losing my time! Ps – Exceptions are made for EXCEPTIONAL people btw…
- Our cuisine is a seasonal one too…things that we are serving these days may not be there next week and replaced by another product we feel would be best for that moment!
- We enjoy trying new things on each product we find…this is why we are called: Progressive Mauritian Cuisine and I am named @progressivechef! Some things work…and some things don’t….this is life! Hope everyone understand this simple logic!
- We don’t like copying how others are doing things; for sure sometimes we do get inspired by some people, who are always mentioned as original source. So please don’t ask us to cook something same as X, Y, Z!!! Food here is PMC Style – ORIGINAL!!!
- I love hearing ideas…but please again come up with positive ones!!!
- You automatically have to wait minimum 15 minutes to be served your food after payment of your order, this can be longer sometimes when we are very busy – If you don’t have the patience of waiting, you can place advance orders with payments made of course!
- In general we advice our clients; if you don’t have the patience to wait… don’t complicate life please! Better don’t order here, we expect our clients and guests to at least have minimum respect for all those who are involved in making these dishes prepared for them to enjoy!
- Make things easy for people - We are here to serve you food the best we can, you either love it or hate it, but we confirm to be doing our best! If you don’t like our style….Please move on!!!
