According to @dan (former co-founder of steem), steemit is not just a platform where cryptocurrency are just being earned from a post made by anyone.
That was just the tip of a preverbal iceberg.
I have been pondering on that statement for months.
The true meaning began to unfold as I continue to spend my time every minute on steemit.
I began to see so much love and so much hate too. Lolz
I got inspired by @jerrybanfield videos on #youtube
Before I went to Steemit In Nigeria Event, I watch a @tojukaka video by @stellabelle telling us what steemit means to her.
I also watched @lukstokes, @ejemai @adrarchy @papa-pepper and @maryfavour tell us what steemit meant to them.
To crown it all @surpassinggoogle threw a contest about the same topic.
It's very obvious that Steemit has done more good than harm to us.
Meaning there is more to just posting and curating
Relationship is the key thing
keeping good relationship with other users should be more cherishable than the Sbd and #steem we all crave for.
RELATIONSHIP = SBD + STEEM
Why don't we make the environment conducive for all to stay.
Can this unnecessary flagging drama stop? 😨 We sincerely need much love here.
Can 70% steemit witness focus on supporting #growth-projects, orphanage and other offline projects that will make the world a better place for us all?.
Steemit is more than a social platform for some users.
Soms quit their jobs to focus on steemit.
I am a beneficiary and it will be wrong if I hold the knowledge of what my community will benefit from. It's our duty to spread steemit gospel everywhere and everyday.
It doesn't matter is you are a whale or a Minnow.
Meaning the human head cannot do without the Ass
We are all useful to each other here.
Well that aside.
I had a swell time yesterday introducing steemit to individuals in my community via #project20millionNaija
I actually thought it was going to be easy today but only to find out most youths do not have a full knowledge of how cryptocurrency works
So I spent time introducing them to crypto world.
I opened a bitcoin and ethereum wallet on https://www.luno.com and explained how I cashout my steem using @blocktrades exchanger. I also showed them how they could fund thier steem accounts if need be.
I met with @pretty-nelly also to guide her how to go on writing first post.. She was a bit shy about expressing herself for the first time on steemit.
She is a academia and I believe with time she will do better and also see the true value of the platform

After which I went to meetup with some individuals who called my phone after seeing the publication from the posters and banners we printed
I just hope everyone I have registered will get an account approval as soon as possible
That's my update for now and don't forget that Steemup Kaduna meetup workshop is on the 7th Thursday of December.
