Homestead Hobbies

One of things we like to do here on the homestead is woodcarving. @anise started taking lessons 10 years ago and as I watched her skills develop she encouraged me to pick up a knife and give it a try, and so I did

I Propose To Support Steemitboard To Reward Users For Their Achievements
We've all seen and received those steemitboard comments in our posts after we have reached a certain achievement; we have the option to turn them off and not recieve them anymore, but what would you like to see the steemitboard used for? What benefits or possible bonuses could be used here?

All users on steemit receive notification from Steemitboard when they reach some achievement. I think it's really important because it motivates a lot of people to do more on steemit

RIP Upvote Comment
The time has come for us to say goodbye to our upvote comment. In the past, it was a marketing tool to help Qurator grow and to let members know when Qurator upvoted. We will be hitting 500 members today and feel the upvote is no longer needed. A lot of members would agree to this as it does present some clutter in your blog.
How will you know if Qurator upvoted your post? We are currently working on our bot's code so that instead of waiting 24 hours for your next upvote, it will reset once a day. So if you post once a day you will still get our support.
We will however get a banner that members can add to the end of their blog. This will be designed soon within the next week or so.
The comment will stop going out in about 12 hours from now.

Xmas support from our upvote bot!
With the price of SBD going crazy we decided to give you a little boost from our support bot @qustodian. Until the 1st of January 2018 our bot will be giving out 3 (instead of 2.5) times the upvote to the amount of SBD you send him!
The bot is Qurator exclusive and will upvote all Qurites with an upvote of 3.0 times the worth of what you send it, up to $0.95!
Delegators will see a payouts of 90% of all SBD earned by the bot.

New Tiers Update
Streemian Trail Account is here!
You may have noticed that your upvotes from @qurator packed a little bigger punch! @scrooger and @ethandsmith are now trailing the @qurator account and will be sending you some extra upvotes from our side as well. It's not much but every upvote counts!
You can also follow the trail and send upvotes to fellow Qurator members when @qurator upvotes them. To set up a Streemian account only takes a few minutes and is a great way to earn some extra curation.
We suggest NOT following the trail at 100% since we do not want to drain too much of your precious voting power. Play around with your percentage and if you see your voting power being drained too much you can simply lower your % in Streemian. If you have a lot of voting power to spare you can consider a larger %.
