In my previous blog of Meditation we learned the Candle gazing technique for focus, concentration, building up your intuitive abilities, etc., Hope you all did remove some time and worked on it.
I had a very good response and with that zeal I bring to you all the next meditation which focuses on releasing unknown fears and blocks
Have you ever felt you fear something for no reason and the fear grips you so much that it alternatively impacts your overall being?
Like fear of Darkness or water phobia, fear of old age or of death or getting abandoned or losing your dear ones, or it can be fear of failure, or of eating something, or fear of speaking up, or fear of even loving someone. If you think of it with your conscious brain you cannot find any relevant explanation as to why, but the fact is, it's still there.
There are times when these fears build up from childhood days where you have encountered a certain situation and it gets so deep rooted that it becomes a part of you. You may not even remember the incident but the impact of the incident has gone so deep within that it becomes a part of your life.
Infancy and childhood traumas are one big reason for these patterns. Sometimes they also originate from the womb itself, where the mother has had a bad experience during pregnancy and it passes on to the baby.
There was a case where a lady had fear of wearing polo neck t shirts, every time she tried wearing one, she felt suffocated and felt as if someone was strangling her. Getting a little deeper into her case it was found that in her childhood days someone had threatened her by trying to strangle her neck. Though she did not remember this incident and it was brought up by her mother, but the fear of it had taken up very strongly on her which was continuing all through her life without any realization of the reason behind it. Other major reason of gripping fear is childhood abuse.
So is it that you need to live with it and you cannot get rid of it?
Till a few years back I too had fear of almost everything like darkness, death, expressing myself, losing my loved ones and lot many and I use to see a clear impact of these on my life with a unsatisfied job, problems with family, finances and almost everything.
So today I will share this meditation technique, which I have been practicing it for years and I still do and this helps me get my confidence power back. It helps me release all that is required for my highest good. Remember these are deep rooted patterns so it does not get off so easily, you need a lot of daily disciplined practice, if done diligently for 40 days regularly you will start noticing a tremendous difference within you. A lot of people to who I have advised this one have seen a good amount of improvement with themselves.
Happy Learning
This is a lengthy one, take out a minimum of half an hour for this practice and do not be in a hurry, take your time to go through each step.
For this particular meditation I suggest you sit down cross legs but if too uncomfortable then advice sitting on a chair half way through with no support to the back and spine completely erect. Also will suggest to sit on a dining chair, rather than a sofa or very soft cushion chair.
Gently breathe in and out. Relax every part of your body consciously taking focus in every part starting from forehead, face, shoulders, hands, chest, abdomen, thighs, ankles, foot, and toes.
Once you feel completely relaxed, take your awareness to the bottom of your feet. Imagine roots coming out of your soles and getting into mother earth grounding you firmly into mother earth.
Then slowly shift your awareness to the top of your head. Imagine a pure white light like a shower over your head coming from the ceiling touching the top of your head, touching your scalp and slowly penetrating into your body.
Keep breathing normal.
Breathe in peace, love, happiness
Breathe out worry, stress, and anxietyLet the white light slowly start penetrating into your face, shoulders, hands, palms, fingertips, chest, and abdomen. Feel the white light radiating and illuminating your body, and then into your thighs, legs, foot, toes. Feel the white light getting stronger in your whole body allowing your body to completely glow in it. Feel the loving energies and the warmth of the Universe and Mother Earth.
Once you are completely merged in the white light, slowly shift your awareness to 2 inches below the navel, also this part is known as Sacral Chakra. Visualize an orange color light in this area, let the orange light expand in this area and simultaneously in your mind keep affirming.
“I am protected, I release anything and everything that does not serve my highest good. I am Whole, Happy, Healthy, Abundant, Fearless, Loving person” (Minimum 21 times)
It is possible that you may not see the orange light in the beginning and may see a dark patch in the area, but you should still continue and over a period of 5 to 6 days you will find the Orange light in the area. The dark patch is nothing but the
stubbornness within you to LET GOBe here for couple of minutes till you feel safe and protected or around 3 to 4 minutes.
Slowly then shift your awareness to 2 inches above the navel, this area is also known as Solar Plexus Chakra. Visualize a Yellow bright light in this area like a candle flame. This particular area plays a role to absorb and assimilate Prana or Chi (life –force energy) from the sun and controls the inward and outward flow of energy in the physical body. Let the light glow and affirm within.
“The light within me is God’s light. I am Strong and Powerful. I honor the power within me. The fire within me burns through my fears” (Minimum 21 times)
Be here for 3 to 4 minutes.
Slowly then shift your awareness to the heart area, this area is also known as Heart Chakra. Visualize an Emerald Green light in this area. Let the light glow and affirm within
“I live in Peace and Gratitude, I am safe in God’s light, I am Love”
Again if you are not able to visualize, do not push it. Take it gently. You will be able to do it with practice and with the releases happening over a period of time.
If the mind is too much cluttered it will be difficult in the beginning to visualize the colors.
Your body is completely glowing and radiating with the high energies of the universe, doing all the cleansing within that is required.
Now it’s time to get back.
Feel the white light which you had initially absorbed slowly contracting back to the shape and size of your aura and then back into your body. From your toes moving up into your body and back to the top of your head and slowly getting back into
the universe.If there are any thoughts emerging in this time, let them surface and pass, if you feel you are holding onto them then consciously let them pass by saying in your mind, this can wait for now and at this point of time has no relevance to me.
When you are done, gently shift your awareness again to the bottom of your feet, wiggle up your toes and then slowly open your eyes.
Please note: In this meditation you need to go with the flow and timing may differ for each individual. Stay in each light area as much as you feel like.
Benefits of this particular Meditation

- Stress relief and Emotional balance
Avoid doing meditation at midnight between 00:30 to 01:30 Hours.
If at any time during the meditation there is a feeling of discomfort then end it and relax.
Additional Tips:
When I started with this meditation it was a bit difficult for me to remember all the steps and the affirmations. So I made a complete script of it and recorded and then started using it as a guided meditation. So you may feel free to follow the same.
The only reason I keep talking and practicing about Meditation is, Its my life purpose that I want more and more people to come to a state of healthy, conscious and mindful living. Letting go off all that does not serve their highest good. So whatever form of meditation you are doing is fine, but dedicate a minimum of 20 minutes daily for your own personal healthy well-being.
