We are witnessing a growing steem community in Ireland and I was particularly excited to read that while in Dublin, @joythewanderer mentioned steemit to her tour guide and he said just heard about it a few days prior!
It's happening . . . .
@STEEM-DUBLIN is showing steady growth in participation. (Not including the Steem Dublin meetup flop of 2016) we started out as six just 2 months ago in June, then in July we were seven and just a month later, we are now...
TWELVE
With 100% growth in just 2 months we're getting
PUMPED LIKE BITCOIN.
^ From left to right we have our very own orca whale @demotruk, Polish model @vajola and photography blogger @condra
Above we have @paulag a data analyst and online entrepreneur, and @beanz who hosts the VO.TU podcast
Previously a wordpress blogger on politics and new to steemit is @daithilifereport who posted to say how nice it was to meet everybody.
On the right is @ammonite who is a professional sculptor with some fascinating stories to tell!
Above on the far left we have @deirdyweirdy and below on the far right is her brother @robbieretard, both anarchists and early bitcoin adopters.
Next to him is @eroche, host of the Culture Vulture Challenge and on the left is @maxbullion who came all the way from Belfast with @wendika.
Somehow @wendika escaped the capture of our dedicated cameraman @condra. But here's a photo from her blog which you can click to go upvote.
NEXT MEETUP
With growing numbers we may need to reserve a place for the next meetup, so stay tuned for the venue in case we don't reserve in The Duke. Since it's becoming a monthly meet-up we'll be holding the next one the same time next month, on the 30th of September.
