Who's ready to survive for some STEEM?
Personally, I think that it is fantastic to think that some steemians have already made hundreds of dollars just for playing a game on steemit! @herpetologyguy took home an incredible 325 STEEM in Season 1 and TEAM SZUMNI featuring @kambrysia and @lukmarcus took home 400 STEEM last season! What is "STEEM-Pocalypse?"
For those of you who do not already know, STEEM-Pocalypse is a daily survival game that I run where each day the teams are presented with different scenarios and options. The teams, each made up of two steemians, get to choose which options they want on a daily basis in an attempt to outlast all the competition.
I try to use realistic scenarios featuring real survival scenarios that include educational opportunities to learn more about wild edibles, water safety, infection remedies, and other helpful information. Some of the rounds are more random situations where I choose the outcomes ahead of time and see which teams perish and which ones survive, and other rounds are based more on real life information.
Basically, I make one post per day, and each teams must reply within 24 hours with their decision on how to proceed. If a team does not reply, I flip a coin or roll a die to determine how they will proceed. Each day of gameplay will have two rounds, and each team must eat at least once every two days of gameplay in order to survive.
How Hard Is It To Play?
All you have to do is find a team mate and pick a team name. Once you do that, reply to this post to let me know that you are playing this season. Then, just wait for the daily post and choose an option with your teammate. It's no harder than that!
If you cannot find a teammate, let me know that you want in and we will get you another user to team up with. A lot of people have met some great friends by teaming up with strangers and they have had a lot of fun in the previous seasons. Now, it's your turn.
