The SteemPi project now has it's own domain and soon enough, it's own website as well.

After working for the last 2 days on the new SteemPi website and landing page it was finally time to look into buying the domain name steempi.com. The goal was to buy the domain with Steem converted to Bitcoin.

When looking into options I wanted to try namecheap. They accepted Bitcoin through BitPay and the total processes was easy and took around 45 min. Most of the time was spent waiting for the payment to clear. After the payment cleared, everything was easy to setup and the domain name was quickly registered.

While writing this post, the DNS servers have updated, and the temporary landing page is now live!
