@steemgigs had further discussion and one thing has stayed obvious; we need to explain in simple terms what a #steemgig is and how steemians can publish their very first #steemgig or set of #steemgigs.

#steemgigs is a steemit community-driven endeavor that aims at using Steemit to fix Fiverr! 

If you didn't know; Fiverr is a marketplace for freelancers or entrepreneurs, who offer their creative services for 5 $. There are several other such marketplaces like freelancer.com for instance but we pick fiverr.com because Fiverr does stand out as also an entertaining place to hangout as the freelancers on Fiverr, tend to be really creative, weird, random etc in the kind of gigs they offer! For instance, on Fiverr, you can find something like this:

"I will write your brand name on my naked big belly and run all over the streets of Kuala Lumpur for 5 dollars!"

4. Trust: To decide on whether to avail of a Fiverr gig; you have to base your trust, mostly on reviews and sometimes off of Fiverr’s ratings!

 5. Chargebacks: This is common with financial institutions and third party merchants. 

6. Ease of paying for gigs: If you don’t have a credit card; Paypal; or funds earned from your own gigs; how do you avail of gigs that you love?

 7. Financial loss: Fiverr can go offline. (On centralized or non-blockchain server, database loss is always a fear!)

8. Privacy: Fiverr is not very private! You may have to reveal your personal information.
