If you didn't meet this wonderful guy already or simply didn't have the luck to come across any of his articles before, now would be the perfect time to do so. Let me introduce you @uwelang!
On this very date, one year ago he joined Steemit! I'm sure he is not even aware of that, and I don't blame him. After a lot of hard work he put around the entire Steemit community and his very dedicated contribution to it, not only to English speaking members but as well to German speaking community on Steemit, he finally manages to run away to the beach.
His Steemit journey is different than of most of us, I suppose. If nothing else, and according to my counting, he had introduced himself to the community twice. 😉
His first introduction which BTW hardly may be considered as some serious introduction (although it's tagged as such) was one year ago. I would say, he apparently didn't know back then where he came and what he stepped into or even less why. 😜
Following four or five months, he was more or less just a Steemit-Sleeping-Beauty or another Steemian-on-Standby. Then he made his real introduction, and from my point of view, that's the breaking point where his Steemit journey really starts.
Two months later he celebrated the achievement of gaining his first 500 followers. If you read his article about "Positivity or how to handle negativity" or the one on "How to control negative emotions," you wouldn't be surprised that his followers base raised from those 500 up to over 1,700 till today.
But those great articles wouldn't be enough to gain such high score if they were not accompanied with his great, helpful, supportive, cheerful, funny, easy going and positive personality while socializing around with other fellow Steemians, no matter if through comments under their's or his own created articles.
He is also one of those Steemians who not only contributed to many challenges going around but as well created few of his own to help us all keep posting and steeming on, especially in days with lack of inspiration.
He initiated BeachWednesday and SunThursday photo challenges, recently moved and delegated to @lizanomadsoul as a new leader who would take future care of those two challenges and keep them running.
As well, @uwelang initiated DanceWeekend tag, and sometimes he might go crazy and wild with it. 😜
