Dear Steemit friends and followers,
Today is a very special day for me as I just achieved my biggest milestone here on Steemit so far when my followers base reached the long-awaited threshold of 10,000.
Believe it or not, I happened to celebrate this exciting moment almost exactly one year after I joined this awesome platform. I became a Steemian on June 14, 2017 so it will be tomorrow when my Steemit account will be celebrating the one-year anniversary, which will be another memorable moment for me and I want to say one really really big THANK YOU to all you of guys since I would never ever accomplish anything from that without you and your support. So thank you!
When I joined Steemit a year ago, launching the daily Prague/Czech Republic Photo Challenge was one of the first things I did on the platform. However, I soon realized that only a very limited part of Steemians can participate in that contest as not everyone has been to my homeland, the Czech Republic, so I came up with another photo challenge known as the 7 World´s Continents Photo Challenge that covers places from all over the world, giving a chance to compete to literally everyone. I think it is pretty safe to say that over the months, these two challenges have helped to grow hundreds of minnows and planktons who have significantly improved their Steemit accounts through competing in those contests.
As you might have noticed, I have been recently also engaging in various charity activities and fundraising projects as I believe the Steem blockchain has a tremendous potential in this area. To name a few, I became the main sponsor of @treeplanter (voting bot that raises funds to save a forest in Africa) and @derangedvisions photography contests that support talented photographers here on Steemit.
But enough about my activities, this post should be about celebrating, having fun and giving back to the community so let me proceed to the giveaway part. Instead of hosting a special photo contest or something like that, I decided to introduce you to an amazing project that is just about to be launched on the Steem blockchain. The project is called the Steem Monsters and I am 100% sure it will make Steemit more popular for its current members and more attractive to new potential users.
