@randowhale. Randowhale is a pretty cool initiative by @berniesanders. At least I think it's bernie who's behind it. That's how I interpret it after reading @aggroed's post.
Lastly, have you had fun with @randowhale yet? Steemit’s cute little "Whale of Fortune." Can you see where I”m going here?!? It’s Bernie’s! He’s tossing out whale votes for your fun, for BTS spite, and for the lulz.

That being said..
I will show you some of my results and I'll also give you my two cents about this.
First of all, I've spent $18 SBD on upvotes for my own content. Just for fun and to give this a fair chance and a decent "test-drive".

And here's the results after randowhale gave me an upvote:
- That's a profit of 4,32.
Minus the $2 fee and we end up with this: 2,32.
I know, that's not the best results, but you have to see it for what it is..
You spend $2 and you get one upvote from a whale. The upvote will be anything from 1-50%.
However, the actual $-boost you get from this service is not the only thing you'll get. You'll also have that whale vote which is important to reach the trending pages and/or the "hot" pages. - That being said, most of the posts I used this service on ranked at #12 and #16 on the hot pages immedtiately, which also gave me more exposure and more rewards.
So, even though I've heard several things about bernie and his intentions or "weird actions".. And I even know that some people are confused, afraid and some people seem to literally just hate bernie, for whatever reasons they might have. - That being said, I have no problem with him at all and I believe he's doing very valuable things for Steemit as a community, even though I can't say that I always understand his reasoning. - Anyhow, I also used randowhale for an old post of mine..
And that was my bad, entirely. I know you can't upvote a post 12 hours before deadline and it's was a pure mistake.. - However, this is the response I got.
So, randowhale not only replied and told me the things he did.. He also went back, and gave me an upvote for my answer. - $6,97.
- So my $2 "donation" transformed into a huge profit of $4,97.
I don't know about you, but if I could exchange money with a profit like that.. I'd exchange money 24 hours per day. ;)
Sure, randowhale might be a 100% automated bot, and perhaps these things would happen no matter who was in charge of it.. - But I personally believe, that you need to have a will to help others if you do things like that.. - And for that, I'd vouch for both randowhale and bernie himself too.
I will definitely use @randowhale in the future too. Perhaps not on all my posts, but I will definitely use it again. - I can see great benefits and the rewards are outstanding.
Let's face it..
randowhale is easy to use with an affordable cost.. And the rewards might be different from time to time, but all in all, a very good service for everyone.
