ULOG: See How Many Various Paradigms Can Be Coded In Simple-Looking Steemit Post, To Understand How Much Goes Into A Steem-Based Project.

Today, i want to do a quick ULOG that tells us more about ULOGs and that gives further insight into what goes on in general, before i am able to pop out and begin a project. Too, you will be able to understand better what goes on before i am able to produce even that simple-looking steemit post, especially in relation to our last discord talk titled "the power of steemit post".

In my case, alot goes into each of my simple-looking steemit post. Over time, my steemit posts began to change tone and now more than used to be the case, my posts are spurred by "responsibility". 

I am in many steem-based communities both on steemit and on discord, telegram, facebook etc but according to me, i see only one ecosystem, thus, one giant community called the "steemit community".

I pay close attention to the sound of it.

I am very active on steemit. I pay attention to the very tiniest details. I am also in the midst of the communities, even in my DMs etc and i listened to its (the communities) undertone. Many times, my simple-looking tiny posts are timely steemit posts, crafted to tend to matters in relation to the steemit community. 

Overall, i am out to inspire the inspirers of steem.

More recently, ULOGS came to life, exploring other aspects of the power of a steemit post, but also to tend to community matters and based on all this, ULOGS had to be birthed at a very timely moment. 

While we await SMTs, hivemind etc instead of allowing "conviction" (in relation to steem) to shake, why don't we keep on, on the path to "dream-building" and ULOGs was birthed. 
Well, ULOGS was birthed for many other beautiful reasons as we will see before the end of this post.

My energy levels have been low lately but i am setting things in place to attain better effectivity and one of such things is #ULOG. Yes, i care about the community and think of ways to reach out to as many as possible and one more way to accomplish this was ULOGS. 

I get many chats and yes, many lose out on inspiration. Some do tire out and visit my chats to get a re-spark and yes, my chats are many. So, "how do i become more effective in reaching as many?" and one such night, while in rest-mode, i did brainstorming and bore ULOGS when it was daytime.

The brainstorming for ULOGS took a day. Well, one of the nights, me in rest-mode and it all played out. 
The next day, i stood up, wrote out a post to begin ULOGS.

Below, i will put out an edited version of a comment, that i had posted in response to a blog post by @mavericinvictus. Prior to his post, i had seen a special post by @ankarlie touching on a similar topic and lately, i have received several chats by the community and i have heard its undertone and all these combined, gave me reason to create that comment and now this post.

Many times, there is need to educate! In relation to understanding steem and perhaps, succeeding on it, much of "history" is involved and many newer steemians, don't have full grasp or insight into this "history". 

Too, in my cases, newer steemians may be or stay oblivious to the fact that "steemit" being the first UI on steem is the major on-the-scene, but there is a lot of "behind-the-scenes" and even alot of contribution of value "behind-the-scenes" that get rewarded on the scene.

Many are so particular about content-creation/quality, that they get lost too deeply into this, losing out on the spanless beauty of steem.

Well, "value" it is, that is rewarded and "content" is one type of value. Beyond that, "content" in itself takes different formats.

Now looking at a steemit post in itself; that too, can contain alot of things coded into, than perhaps, just conventional things like researched content, specialized or niche-based content, educational content etc. 

e.g this one steemit post, is one born out of my "responsibility" to the steemit community and beyond that contains various paradigms.

If you look intently, you will note the various paradigm that i add, even into every of my simple-looking posts, comment, community chats, DMs etc

Here are some of the major paradigms (not exhaustive):

  • World Adjustment
  • Dream-building
  • Innovation/enterprise/community building
  • Mining the "human".
  • Steem Growth inside-out
  • Enhancing steem
  • Exploring steem in the fullest extent of its beauty.
  • Strengthening the steemit community
  • Timeliness.
  • Sustaining inspiration. Inciting inspiration.
  • Serving the search engines (Stirring content-creation and content-curation)
  • Creating buzz and excitement.
  • Sustaining and "removing barriers to entry" for "growing communities" first, then instilling a culture that empowers it.
  • Freshness.
  • Potential.
  • Mainstreamity.
  • Organic.
  • Evolving the human 
  • etc

Now pay attention to my comment (soon-to-be-seen) below. In this simple-looking singular comment, i was simply tending to the matters in "the communities that i cater to". I was also educating and highlighting how much "value" happens behind-the-scenes, even in relation to the creation of a simple-steemit-post or perhaps, "trending post" unseen "on-the-scene". 

Too, all of the paradigms enlisted above, where put into this singular comment.

Try also to pay attention to how many details came into play, within "one short night" when ULOGS was birthed, weeks ago. See, how much is put into one simple-looking idea as an innovation for the world and in relation to steem and steem growth.

Notice how in my undertone, i was trying to say; "hi @ankarlie, @mavericinvictus, community etc no worries, we simply need to educate and keep on with creating awesomeness.

Comment Proper...

First if those people talking have had "my inspiration" on their posts or comments, then they know they have nothing much to say. Overall, i look to inspire and grow steem, moreso than distribute rewards as "many things are priceless". 

Too, the numbers are growing so drastically; so now, it is more about stirring steem growth and sustaining excitement etc across the ecosystem etc but that's me. 

My votes represent my love, my brotherhood, incessant inspiration, reminders of light-in-the-tunnel, etc moreso than just financial rewards overall and especially with the communities that i tend to. 

Plus, ULOGS just popped up more recently and there have been many of my "doings" from way before #ulog. So-so-so many of it. 

Don't worry, #ulog is the freshest of them (my projects) and just weeks old and #ulog produced 2029 posts and 6k plus comments after just 6 days since its birth etc. Now, even if 50 percent is considered quality etc, that is a good start because there is a grand picture etc 

I know the "growing communities" that i tend to and in these communities, we remove "barriers to entry" first, create excitement, buzz etc then gradually instill a culture. 

It is gradual. Organic. Inside-out
But those who know; know, and that's all. 

Yes, i had to sit down to brainstorm and pop out #ulog, at a time when many in the communities that i tend to, were shaky in their conviction about steem; (at a time when other blockchain-based social interfaces are beginning to pop up), so as to re-incite excitement, re-strengthen conviction etc. (in/about steem)

I went all the way to Cebu (SteemSummit) on an impromptu flight also because of the timeliness of it and what it will do for inspiration as these communities that i tend to, need these things and depending on the timeliness of it, perhaps moreso than money. 

"Everyone plays a role"; so if they want to talk about me even in bad light etc, they have a role. I know of history, i have been here. I know my own role and i carry out my role. I love curie and the many curators etc who play their roles in the ecosystem. Yes, everyone one plays a role. Many independent curators and curie curators are in my DMs; even steemcleaner volunteers etc but my approach is behind-the-scenes for the most part; so i don't have to mention everything i do. 

those who know, know 

We all have different approaches. For those talking, this is simply to educate. 

Because, while you feel you are talking etc, your approach compliments mine, so why should i worry or counter it. You simply are helping me too, when your approach is to seek out quality content etc so why should i worry. There are myriads of authors and you help with curation using your own techniques, so why should i worry. 

So let me educate a bit more......

Does it (ULOGS) spur steem growth? 

Well, there are now ULOGS from as many nations, within a few weeks and let's simply show you one steemit post, from some two or 3 days ago, that carried out steem promotion organically (incited by #ulog): 

Well, i didnt want to go into history, so i am covering for you just the past 2 or 3 days. Too, thousands of ULOGS in the search engines certainly does some good in terms of organic steem promotion. Again, we all play a role. No one does more than the next because, well, you can't measure it all. I found steem organically through the search engines and who knows, it can have been anyone's post.

All these within a few weeks. So talkers be patient! 

And if the goal is to reduce on spam, #ulog works; "with testimonies" and it is only a few weeks old. Why should you spam when you can ULOG? And there testimonies of several, who have made adjustments upon finding #ulog or isn't that part of the goal? 

A ULOG is simply an extra steemit post a day and it doesn't have to stop your normal steemit activities or stop you from doing your normal steemit-posting routine etc. 

In the past there was a 4-post limit and that was removed because we all know of "serving the engines" and the organic growth it can bring about ("steemit" is top 1500 websites) but if you were here then; to maximize 4-posts-a-day even was hard. 

So, if i had "two" hotcake-posts for the steemit audience; one post (from the 4) to contain e.g my legacy; my bookmarked posts; my library; my laboratory; or a decentralized place to save my stuff forever or maintain privacy; a means to build my dreams; a means to showcase my dreams; a means to build an enterprise or community etc and one extra post (the 4th post) to recount my evolution through out the day, (me as my audience or to inspire those on the search engines or here) etc, what is wrong with that? 

People are here for a variety of reasons. Why should i suddenly think "everyone" is here for exactly the same reason as me or that people are simply here to earn etc. Nothing much to talk there! 

If you want to talk; Talks adds flavor to the ecosystem. It's not today! 

and ofcourse you can recount even your entire steemit day within a #ulog. You can make a conscious effort to evolve each day and record it. So yes, a ULOG can be "a classic". 

Visit some of the samples above. 

If we want to create a trend on the internet showcasing steemit, feeding-off trends e.g #vlog, #blog etc and simplify matters, opening it (ULOG) up to "include text and every form of media", why is that suddenly so bad? 

Plus, ULOGS can be private too. Well, if your account is private, your ULOGS are likely to be private as well. 

Then ofcourse, reshaping the entire internet with "freshness" even in terms of content; putting in freshly-made images, experiences, content, specialized knowledge etc not only incentivizes "conscious learning" daily but remove "barriers to entry" with regards to content-creation and content-curation itself as (with regards to curation) it can remove rigors, making it "true-fan-style" curation, fun, an experience etc. 

There are many grand amazing things involved and i can see it and that is sufficient. Well, many steemit accounts are inspired again and it starts there and gradually, they will start creating hotcake content like you may want them to. So "the talkers" be patient a bit and watch. 

#ulog is just a few weeks old. 

And yes, even simple memes can trend. A one-liner can trend. There are many factors! 

A simple-looking very timely "red tomato meme" may trend on valentine's day because it may have been deemed pin-point "technical" on the Feb 14 day. 

A one-liner saying; "earthquake in 5 mins" can quickly jump on trending, if there was actually earthquake in 4.99 mins and this one-liner saved lives. 

a pokemon meme can trend, when there is the "pokemon trend" in the world because it may have been seen as an easier attracter of pokemon fans etc at a time when there was a pokemon craze. 

A steemit post from China may trend because much of the internet there is censored and perhaps, steemit can break-grounds there. 

A particular steemit post may trend because there is "no resource" (for the topic that this particular steemit post covered), on the entire internet etc

Or if an fb-type social interface was built around the steem protocol, do you think it won't remove "barriers to entry" and bring about further mainstreamity? And yes, "everyone" plays a role, for even investors value "masses" etc 

Plus, different curators or guilds have their individual styles etc. I have done curation and loads of it and i have tried tons of methods and i grown into a true-fan-type curator, where i pay attention to things beyond just content, for steemit also as a "reputation paradigm" as well (to check behavior), as "anyone" can write the best content etc (evidence that even good reputation can constitute "value"). 

Moreso, the communities i tend to are growing communities and have their own special needs. These communities need "its own approach" etc 

Overall, If people feel good about themselves and start to shine, draw engagement and "true fans" along the way, who says they wont start writing awesome content. "So, talkers be patient, #ulog is weeks old!" 

@mermaidvampire simply seeks friends, so, go hangout there and go be her friend and see if she won't be popping out lit content tomorrow. Well, she already does! 

Now each Ulogger will eventually hold space on the Uloggers steem-based website, when it is ready and certified Uloggers will help us add new dimensions to our "reputation system" on https://steemgigs.org (for SteemGiggers). 

So, apply patience and see things unfold.

Else why does a simple-looking upvote action get rewards too? Isn't it a simple-looking click action? Well, because that is considered value too and perhaps "talent", because not everyone can spot gem or can sit down to do it.

Well, i don't know of Adwords etc but even "on error", if someone typed in #ulog instead or #vlog, he will find a steemit post and unlike before, google will no longer suggest "did you mean #vlog or #blog".

So in my brainstorming, i was going to feed off two popular words, blog and vlog. Now see what i mean below. 

On Facebook, though it suggests "did you mean "blogs"; it brought out the ULOGS fb-page. See this: 


Now images rank too and see how many freshly-taken pictures there are for "#ulog" in the search engines, within today (all with the potential of promoting steem and growing it):

If it is easy to brainstorm and cover all the tiniest details, like was the case with birthing ULOGS, instead of talking, try it brainstorm too, let's create more awesomeness for steem. 

Now, how about the word; "ULOGS", in the search engines. Yes, google has steemit posts already showing up (within a few weeks) on the first page (for search word "ULOGS"): 

 

"#ulogging" is already indexing and holding its own space on the entire google, with 8 results only and ofcourse, showing off steemit and busy.org 

and yes, it possible to type "#ulogging" even in error, while using the search engines e.g when trying to put in #vlogging. See:

So, give it more time, my brothers!
If from all this, you can't pick or see any good or value from #ulog, then be patient. Give it a few months! 

Ofcourse, if i visited your steemit post, it won't matter if you were the talker. I will look to inspire you because "we all play roles"; we just exercise varying ways and you know me, i will always be "your boy terry". 

#ulog did all that in a couple of weeks and that's something to me and very much re-tells me of the beauty of steem and continuously deeply-root my love for steem and humans and what i represent and that is sufficient and a very grand aspect of steem/steemit for me. 

There is a lot of beautiful sides to steem. Thus, i published this post to showcase more of these sides.
