BeerBot is a long overdue project I started last year. At first I just didn't know what to do with it. I used it to just flag spam for the most part. Now it's a functional (but still in pieces) tool for both finding and fighting abuse on steemit. It has many features. It's a voting bot. It's on discord feeding information to @steemcleaners. It's monitoring and logging mentions. It's finding potential spam and phishing attacks. It also does a few things I can't talk about. Can't give away our secrets for finding scammers.
I plan on adding a lot more functionality to it. That takes time though. Something I don't have due to fighting all the abuse on steemit. I try to put an hour or so into it whenever I can but that is maybe once or twice a week. It gives me a lot of spam to sort though. Here I though it would give me less work and more free time..........
