Philly Cheese Steak Sliders

Steemit Sandwich Contest - Week 26

Anything goes for week #26 of the Steemit Sandwich Contest hosted by @jaybird. Today I present to you a gang of 'Philly Cheese Steak Sliders'. These little bad boys are perfect for this weekend's upcoming Super Bowl festivities. The Philadelphia Eagles will be taking on the New England Patriots. Whether you're rooting for the Eagles or the Patriots, it doesn't really matter because these cheese steak sliders will be delicious either way.

Ingredients:

Roast Beef
American Cheese
Onions
Peppers
Garlic Powder
Slider Rolls

Step 1: Sauté Onions & Peppers

In a small skillet, begin to sauté some sliced onions and green bell peppers with a bit of garlic powder.

Step 2: Prepare the Meat & Toast the Rolls

Toast up a few slider rolls. Get a nice slab of fresh roast beef (I used Boar's Head) and a few slices of american cheese. You can use whatever cheese you'd like, but American is what I had available and the gooeyness works great.

Step 3: Slice Meat & Add to Pan

Shred up the roast beef and add it to the pan of onions and peppers. Toss it up and let the meat begin to brown.

Step 4: Get Cheesey

Add a couple slices of American cheese to the pan.

Step 5: Mix It Up

Stir up the ingredients in the pan until well combined. Fold the cheese into the meat until melted. Keep stirring so the cheese does not burn in the pan. Once the cheese is melted and meat is brown, you are complete.
