Last night I went through box 1 of this collection. Tonight I'll dig through box 2, it's not very exciting. I think box 3 will be an adventure, hopefully tomorow I will have time to sort through it.
First the fluff. A 1928 Canadian penny.
And this thing, a quick online search says no silver☹.
Now onto the goodies.
These '67 halves are beautiful except for the fingerprints on all of them.
Another '39 dollar with some luster still. Interesting rim wear.
A green spot probally from storing it in pvc.
Interesting patterns on this Centinnial dollar.
A quarter with very dark toning-or maybe just dirt?
And finally some 90% junk. The Morgan has some luster still, but both peace dollars have seen better days.
This box has 22 Canadian silver dollars and 3 US silver dollars. These coins are adding up quickly, I'm going to have to find some cash somewhere so I can call them my own.
It's warming up in Saskatoon, maybe I won't need my toque much longer!
