I had a post in Chinese sharing my thoughts on colours and there were some interest from the non-Chinese literate community that I decided to do an English version here. It's not a direct translation. Some things, particularly the linguistic humour, cannot be translated.

Many people (including myself) nowadays like to take photographs of what we see and experience.
By default, our pictures come out in colour. In the early days of photographs, things were more complicated and even then your final picture is only shades of grey. Still monochrome pictures still have their attractions nowadays.

Personally, I still think colours add some excitement and make our lives more interesting. Launching a product and we need to consider what colours to have for the final product. Henry Ford's way of you can have any color as long as it is black is just not cool nowadays.
From product design, manufacturing, marketing, packaging and even maintenance, you will have some thoughts about colours.
Doesn't that make your work, purchases and usage more interesting?
Or you get headaches because you are the type who have difficulty making decision.
Like a lady shopping for a dress. Going from area 1 to area 51 and try all the different dresses and then go back to area 1 to buy the one that she tried there.
For men, so simple. Try one. Size fit. Buy a few of the same design with different colours. Done deal.

I remembered last year when I was changing car. We sort of decided red. Then, which red?
In the end, I made this picture and we made the decision.
