Hi Everyone,
Today I would like to share a restaurant we go often as the whole family loves the food and there is something for everyone. Din Tai Fung is a dumpling chain started in Taiwan and there have been a few branches opened in Sydney. It is always busy so we try to get there just before the lunch crowds arrive. Once I registered my name and number of guests, I was given the menu and a buzzer. We waited around 10 minutes and got a table towards the back of the restaurant.
Let's have a look at some parts of the menu. They have an extensive menu and even offer a banquet option for larger groups.
As we were deciding what to order, the waitress bought out two sets of kids cutlery and an activity set for them. The kid's cutlet set has the Ding Tai Fung mascots printed on them and a cup of sealed water also provided which is perfect for kids in case they spill water. The activity set was different printed pictures for kids to colour in which keeps them occupied. Check out some of the finished artwork from kids - I guess many of them do love colouring in.
Lets see what we have ordered. We ordered drunken chicken, braised beef soup, chicken noodle soup, xiao long bao dumplings (not pictured as we ate it up so quickly) & pork chop noodle soup.
The quality is always great and soup noodles are great for a cold winter day.
All dumplings are made in-store and can be seen through the glass window near the front door. There are ample seating at this particular branch but it still gets very busy so there is always a line of people waiting to go in.
Do you have a Din Tai Fung in your country?
